Bomb Defusal
The signature Sudden Attack mode, carried into Zero Point. Two five-player teams split into an Attack side and a Defense side across a round-based match. Attackers carry the bomb (C4) and try to plant it at one of two bomb sites and let it detonate; Defenders win by defusing a planted bomb, running out the round timer, or eliminating the enemy team. There is no health regeneration and no healing items, so every trade of health matters and positioning around the two sites decides most rounds.

Each round is a self-contained fight: once you die you stay dead until the next round, which pushes the careful, information-first play the franchise is known for. Winning comes from three win conditions — detonation for Attack; defuse, timeout, or a team wipe for Defense — so a Defense side that loses the bomb can still win by racing to a defuse.
The Final Closed Beta shipped four Bomb Defusal maps, each built around two bomb sites (marked A and B in-map). Site control, utility to slow a push, and disciplined trades are the core skills. Because there is no regen, the customization you bring — recoil and reload tuning from weapon parts — feeds directly into how many duels you can win before you have to reset.
